Job Summary
Manage the volunteer and community engagement program to connect individuals, corporations, and faith-based groups to meaningful opportunities that advance our mission and meet survivor needs. Generate revenue by identifying, cultivating, and soliciting monetary and in-kind donations from partners, while converting volunteers to donors through targeted engagement strategies. Coordinate seasonal and year-round engagement activities, host tours of residential and walk-in center sites, and execute special events including Serious Fun, Fall Luncheon, and Annual Meeting. Support the execution of marketing and social media strategy to reach supporters, collaborate with relationship managers to facilitate a volunteer-to-donor pipeline, and prospect new corporate and community partnerships. Complete the 40-hour Domestic Violence Advocate certification training post offer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience
- Experience in project management
- Experience coordinating events
- Experience generating revenue from businesses, groups, and individuals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills, multi-tasking abilities, team playing skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to travel to various locations within Orange County, attend events on evenings and weekends, as needed
- Proficiency in Raiser's Edge (or similar CRM) and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as working knowledge of computer database program entry and report generation
- Complete the 40-hour Domestic Violence Advocate certification training post offer
- Pass a background screening to the satisfaction of the agency
