Job Summary
Coordinate AMA community engagement events and activities while liaising with staff, vendors, and stakeholders to build strong partnerships. Deliver effective school safety programs and manage equipment and inventory through administrative support. Represent the brand as an ambassador to partners and promote advocacy messaging to enhance community presence. Report directly to the Community Engagement Supervisor. Requires a valid driver's license, clean abstract, and access to a personal vehicle. Hybrid work model.
Required Qualifications
- You have a high school diploma or post-secondary diploma in related fields
- You hold a valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract and access to a personal vehicle
- You can produce a bondable, vulnerable sector reference check (police check)
- You have some first aid training or willing to take first aid training
Desired Qualifications
- A Degree in communications, marketing, early childhood development or community development is an asset
- You have one to two years of experience in applicable fields, such as public relations, program coordination, event management, sponsorship and print production is an asset
- Your demonstrated communications or marketing skills would be considered an asset
