Job Summary

Lead key activities to progress career objectives by identifying, targeting, and executing business within the local community to elevate innovative HIV prevention and treatment approaches. Identify and lead community-related initiatives that augment territory-level sales in partnership with matrix teams, while delivering branded and unbranded content to Allied Healthcare Professionals and patients. Passionately deliver promotional activities for long-acting injectables, engaging disproportionately affected communities and organizations. Engage directly with social workers, case managers, and outreach workers in AIDS Service Organizations, faith-based groups, and ethnic organizations to develop strong networks and establish pathways to PrEP and linkage to care. Align and execute tailored business plans that help healthcare providers scale prevention and treatment models, while coordinating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Clinical Educators, and Field Reimbursement Managers. Maintain a portfolio-based selling mindset to ensure customers experience a cohesive, integrated ViiV experience and deliver execution plans that achieve performance goals using KPIs and business problem-solving.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience which should include specialty/HIV experience
  • 5+ years of experience in HIV/AIDS or public health community-based organizations
  • Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which include nights/weekends and overnight travel, with the majority of time spent in market
  • Valid Driver's License

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Health Policy
  • Health or Allied Health fields
  • Strong connection to and understanding of community needs, specifically HIV prevention or HIV treatment; with enthusiasm to promote new long acting injectables to key communities of need
  • Demonstrated experience in developing strategic business plans with specific, measurable, action-oriented objectives
  • Demonstrated experience navigating, organizing and influencing key stakeholders, along with establishing community networks and pathways to expand outreach to underrepresented populations
  • Experience in defining and executing market development strategies
