Community Empowerment Manager

Job Summary
Represent the station to community groups, schools, and non-profits while cultivating relationships with political and business leaders. Lead station efforts to build awareness through events, parades, and festivals, collaborating with the sales team on non-traditional revenue sources and digital content strategies. Manage compliance requests, FCC license renewals, and EEO reporting, while producing public service announcements and weekly community programs. Schedule phone banks to address local concerns and expand political outreach. Work weekends and evenings as needed for company-sponsored events and job fairs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, or related fields
- at least 3 years of experience in public relations, community affairs, management and/or promotions
- Bilingual – fluent speaker in English and Spanish
- Experience developing written content for on-air, and digital platforms
- verbal communication in both English and Spanish language
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Media Production and Digital Content
- Strong experience interacting with Hispanic community groups and leaders
