Job Summary

The Community Educator, Latino Outreach at Mental Health America facilitates culturally responsive mental health education and outreach for English- and Spanish-speaking communities, focusing on trauma-informed content and strategic partnerships.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred
  • At least 3 years of facilitation or education delivery experience
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written) required

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience designing and delivering culturally relevant content to diverse audiences
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and Latino mental health priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, and virtual training tools

Additional Requirements

  • Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed
