Community Education Coordinator

Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and evaluate Benevilla's community education initiatives, including educational programming, community relationships, and events supporting caregivers and older adults. Manage administrative oversight of the Support Group Program while building community relationships, increasing service awareness, and tracking program outcomes to identify future growth opportunities. Coordinate logistics for workshops, maintain accurate records using databases or CRM systems, and collaborate with marketing teams to promote events across multiple channels. Present to groups for speaker introductions and tours, and introduce speakers or potential tabling events. This role requires reliable transportation to the Peoria, Sun City, or Surprise area and involves working 30+ hours per week with voluntary 403(b) retirement participation.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation to the Peoria, Sun City, or Surprise area
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- Experience/skills coordinating logistics for community event, workshops or education program
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
- Community outreach and partnership development experience
- Experience working with databases or CRM systems, maintaining accurate records and data analytics
- Ability to collaborate with marketing teams to promote events through multiple channels
- Comfort in speaking in front of groups because this person will be introducing speakers, presenting about Benevilla, tours, potential tabling events, etc
Desired Qualifications
- An associate degree in Human Services, Business, Communications, Event Planning, or a related field
