Community Disaster Program Specialist

Job Summary
As a Community Disaster Program Specialist, you will lead and support teams of trained volunteers to deliver disaster-cycle services, building a foundation of continuous and robust volunteer engagement. You will collaborate with volunteer services staff to prepare communities to respond to disasters, deploy to disaster relief operations at least annually, and manage volunteer-led initiatives to meet targets. The role emphasizes working with frontline communities, cultural and linguistic responsiveness, and partnership with local organizations to mobilize communities before, during, and after disasters. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience, plus a valid driver’s license. Strong communication, coordination of staff and volunteers, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work outside regular hours (nights/weekends) are essential. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance and requires geographic residency within the assigned region.
Required Qualifications
