Job Summary
Community Disaster Program Specialist in Las Cruces, NM: lead and support a diverse team of volunteers to deliver disaster-cycle services with rapid, accessible, and equitable support to frontline communities. Recruit, engage, and coordinate volunteers; collaborate with volunteer services staff; ensure readiness and effective disaster response in the region with opportunities for deployment outside the region at least once per year; leverage strong communication, partnership development, and cross-cultural engagement to build community resilience. The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), 3 years of related experience, and a valid driver's license; no relocation assistance is provided.
