Job Summary
Develop relationships with individuals with developmental disabilities to support their independence through personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and household chores. Facilitate recreational activities, community outings, and positive behavior support while performing necessary lifts, transfers, and medical monitoring for conditions like g-tubes and blood sugar management. Complete observation notes and reports to document care activities. Full-time, part-time, and casual shifts available including days, evenings, nights, and every other weekends. Hourly wage ranges from $18.60 to $19.95. Valid driver's license and vehicle required for full-time and part-time roles.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 12 or General Equivalency Diploma
- 1-year experience in a related field of Human Service
- Acceptable Police Information Check
- Acceptable Child Intervention Check
- A vehicle
- A valid driver's license
- Valid insurance
- Acceptable driver's abstract
