Job Summary
Manage daily operations of the Community Development Division, overseeing application and enforcement processes for the Committee of Architecture (COA). Prepare COA agendas and applicant packets, manage the Community Development budget, and respond to requests from Pueblo County Planning and Development. Collaborate with the Regional Building Department for rule enforcement, attend public meetings, and provide input to potential applicants at Commercial Review Meetings. Supervise staff performance, conduct hiring, and develop training programs while maintaining a supportive, professional environment. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of related experience, and a valid Colorado class "R" driver's license. Full-time hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility for meetings and deadlines. Hybrid remote work is available at the discretion of the Department Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Land Use Planning, Business or other related fields
- Five years of progressively responsible related experience
- Must have and maintain a valid Colorado class 'R' driver's license
