Job Summary
Conduct case management for families in public housing, including client assessments, action plans, and crisis intervention. Deliver wrap-around services and adult/youth programming to help residents walk up and out of poverty. Train and support volunteers while overseeing interns to ensure learning goals are met. Coordinate community events such as back-to-school drives and Thanksgiving food distributions. Provide assistance to walk-in clients during scheduled periods and maintain accurate client data records. Represent the ECD program in the community in alignment with agency mission and ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work, Human services, or related field
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Must be flexible to work across in Annandale, Centreville, Fairfax city when required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including Microsoft Excel
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, good driving record, and personal car insurance
- Ability to drive a 15-passenger van
- Must pass criminal background and Child Protective Services background checks
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to attend occasional meetings at other FACETS office locations within Fairfax County, including 3 annual organization-wide fundraising events each year
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish/Arabic) is a plus
