Job Summary
Educate and consult families on pre-need cemetery and funeral planning; build trust through relationships with churches, civic groups, veteran organizations, hospice partners, senior living communities, and other local groups; conduct educational preplanning seminars; confidently set appointments and guide families through personalized preplanning and product presentations; provide professional park tours; prospect daily via seminars, web leads, file reviews, outside events, and community outreach; schedule 10–12 qualified pre-need appointments per week and maintain CRM activity; respond to inquiries and follow up professionally; maintain accurate contract paperwork; stay current on veteran and Social Security benefits; deliver world-class service with a proactive, customer-focused mindset; participate in ongoing training with sales and regional leadership.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- A satisfactory driving record
- Working knowledge (or willingness to quickly learn) federal, state, and local regulations related to the cemetery and funeral profession
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage your time independently and stay disciplined in daily prospecting
