Community Developer - March of Giants

Job Summary

Develop and execute community strategic plans through content tactics that support Production objectives and augment marketing strategy. Grow existing communities in alignment with business goals while coordinating communication across multiple global departments for cohesive messaging. Leverage Community Managers and partner resources to create meaningful content for players, including blogs, podcasts, and interviews. Act as a brand spokesperson for March of Giants, coordinating events like studio visits, developer dialogues, and tournaments. Collaborate with Social Media Managers to define content KPIs and support internal milestones such as betas and launches. Shape player feedback cycles to influence game experiences and assist in positioning messaging beats. Manage internal reports on community feedback and expectations while collaborating with live teams on post-launch communication. International travel may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • Intermediate experience managing online communities and developing strategic plans or programs with demonstrable success in a professional setting
  • Extensive experience in the gaming industry, with multiple gaming platforms
  • Experience in social media marketing or with digital asset creation (video, photo, podcasts, etc.)
  • Knowledge or strong interest in March of Giants
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, TikTok, Discord, etc.)
  • Experience working in a demanding Production environment, with multiple deadlines, metrics for success, and stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of building and maintaining the growth of video game communities as well as developing and executing strategic player engagement plans
  • Proven track record of working with various stakeholders to filter and implement player feedback
  • International travel may be required

Desired Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in the gaming industry, with multiple gaming platforms, would be a strong plus
  • Experience in social media marketing or with digital asset creation (video, photo, podcasts, etc.) is also a strong plus
  • Having worked on a AAA live-title is a strong plus
