Job Summary
Provide strength-based interventions to build self-regulation skills and develop coping strategies for anger, impulse control, depression, anxiety, and stress. Deliver individual, family, and group counseling services addressing behavioral challenges, parenting skills, family systems issues, and substance abuse. Prepare diagnostic assessments and interpret treatment plans from other providers. Facilitate Child and Family Team meetings and respond to crisis situations as needed. Document case activities for clinical and billing purposes. Collaborate with attorneys, school personnel, and social workers to coordinate care. Work with a clinical supervisor to increase therapeutic effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- Minimum 4 years of direct member care experience in Behavioral Health
- Own, reliable transportation
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR, First Aid & AED certification
- Valid Driver's License
- 39-month Motor Vehicle Report
- proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance
- Negative TB test result
