Job Summary
Provide strength-based interventions and counseling services to build self-regulation and coping strategies for anger, impulse control, depression, anxiety, and stress. Deliver individual, family, and group skills-building interventions in community, educational, or home-based settings while facilitating Child and Family Team meetings and group counseling sessions on a rotating basis. Prepare diagnostic assessments and document case activities for clinical and billing purposes in accordance with agency and AHCCCS standards. Respond to crisis situations as needed and collaborate with system partners, including attorneys, school personnel, and social workers, to coordinate care. Work with a clinical supervisor to increase therapeutic effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- Minimum 4 years of direct member care experience in Behavioral Health
- Own, reliable transportation
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPR, First Aid & AED certification
- Valid Driver's License
- 39-month Motor Vehicle Report
- proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance
- Negative TB test result
