Job Summary
Community Counselor role in Bisbee, AZ providing strength-based interventions and family-centered clinical services in community, educational, or home-based settings. Responsibilities include care coordination, facilitating Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings, delivering individual/family/group skills-building counseling, crisis response, documenting activities, and collaborating with other providers. Requires an Associates degree (preferred) or high school diploma/GED, 4+ years in behavioral health, valid driver’s license, fingerprint clearance, CPR/First Aid/AED, and the ability to coordinate with families, schools, attorneys, social workers, and probation officers.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree preferred, high school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 4 years of direct member care experience in Behavioral Health
- Own, reliable transportation; mileage reimbursement provided
- Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment)
- CPR, First Aid & AED certification (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment)
- Valid Driver’s License, 39-month Motor Vehicle Report, proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance (if required)
- Negative TB test result (if required)
