Job Summary
Provide individual, group, and family counseling to youth and their families within home and community settings; administer crisis intervention counseling; conduct comprehensive family assessments; manage cases with 24-hour accessibility; support families in implementing case plans; educate parents on meeting physical, mental, and emotional needs; maintain caseloads; collaborate with referral agencies; advocate for family preservation; coordinate services and provide referrals; document progress and reports; uphold professional standards and ethics; travel locally as needed; bilingual capabilities preferred (English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole).
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in human services field is required
- Two or more years' experience in adolescent and family counseling, facilitating group sessions, and performing intake, psychosocial/risk assessments. Experience with troubled youth and their families.
