Job Summary
Leasing Agent role at a 141-unit senior LIHTC community in Olympia, WA. Responsibilities include touring units with prospective tenants, handling resident relations and rental-process support, maintaining market knowledge, preparing reports for managers, hosting community events, and assisting residents through the rental process. Requires 2+ years of customer service experience, knowledge of Fair Housing, Landlord/Tenant, and ADA laws (LIHTC/Affordable Housing experience preferred); high school diploma or GED required. Schedule is on-site Tue-Fri 9:00 AM–6:00 PM and Sat 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with potential additional hours; compensation $23–$25/hour plus bonuses, benefits, 401k, PTO, and holidays. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected; strong communication and teamwork skills are valued.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in customer service is required
- 1+ years’ experience in the multifamily/student housing industry within the last 10 years preferred
- Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws, Landlord/Tenant Laws and ADA laws preferred
- LIHTC/Affordable Housing experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
