Community Connector - Part Time - Blackbridge Community and Sports Hub

Community Connector role supporting Podsmead’s place-based work to reduce health inequalities and inactivity; build and strengthen relationships with local residents, community groups and organisations; co-create solutions that matter to Podsmead; coordinate elements of the Heart of the Game Blood Pressure project, including coordinating blood pressure testing sessions, matchday activities and lifestyle programme bookings; 30 hours per week across Monday to Friday with flexible working options and occasional weekend support; temporary up to 12 months. Key duties emphasize promoting health, wellbeing and social cohesion through community development and partnership working; required skills include excellent verbal and written communication, relationship-building, organisational and multi-priority management, creative problem-solving, adaptability, confident IT use (MS Office, databases), and mobility to travel across sites. Essential qualification: Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
