Job Summary
Provide one-on-one community services to young adults aged 17-26 currently or formerly in the foster care system. Assist clients in determining goals for a successful transition from foster care to independent adulthood. Support clients in reaching their goals through guidance and connections to community resources. Establish rapport and build trust while writing clearly for varied audiences. Travel with or without accommodation as needed. Join a collaborative, mission-driven team building family-centered solutions across Kansas and Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- Personal lived experience during childhood or adolescence in any of the following: foster care, informal kinship care, homelessness, and/or mandatory family centered systems of care services in the home.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to write clearly, concisely, and effectively for a variety of audiences.
- Ability to quickly establish rapport and build trust.
- Travel required with or without accommodation.
