Community Compliance Officer

Job Summary

Conduct routine patrols throughout the community by vehicle, golf cart, bicycle, or on foot to observe and document violations of OCA Restrictions and Rules. Photograph observed infractions, monitor common areas, amenities, and parking for compliance, and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the Community Manager. Submit detailed daily inspection reports and respond to resident questions regarding community rules in a courteous, professional manner. Maintain confidentiality regarding homeowner information and refer confrontational situations to management. This part-time role requires approximately 10–15 hours per week with flexible evening and weekend availability.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid South Carolina driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to operate a golf cart safely
  • Must successfully complete training on OCA governing documents and compliance procedures
  • Walk, stand, drive, and ride a bicycle throughout the community for extended periods
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Lift up to 25 pounds
  • Use a smartphone or tablet for documentation and photography

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in property management, code enforcement, security, customer service, or community association operations
