Job Summary
Community Collaborations Intern responsibilities include working with youth, parents, schools, law enforcement, elected officials, social service agencies, and community members to address targeted behavior; develop and implement program/curriculum in a school or community setting; attend and help plan and execute community events; assist with needs assessments. This unpaid internship spans one semester (Winter–Spring) and is located in Schaumburg, IL, offering opportunities to engage in client engagement, group planning/facilitation, and exploration of roles such as case worker, care coordinator, or recovery specialist.
