Job Summary
Advocate and deliver case management to families and children in Specialty Foster Care by managing assigned caseloads, developing individualized service plans, and conducting active visitations. Coordinate transportation, connect families to referrals and resources, and oversee heavy documentation and reporting. Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations while managing crisis situations. Requires a Bachelor's degree in psychology or human services, two years of child welfare experience, and a valid driver's license. Located in Savannah, GA, with a starting pay of $20.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology or a human services related field
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in child welfare, foster care or in-home crisis interventions
- Experience providing clinical and/or case management services to children and families
- Must possess excellent therapeutic skills
- Written/verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Valid Driver's License
- Satisfactory Drug Screen results
- Background Check results
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class
Desired Qualifications
- Masters Degree
- Previous DFCS or CPA experience
- Experience with SHINES system
