Job Summary
Visit and regularly check in at multiple senior living communities in Cary and Raleigh to ensure scheduled services are completed. Check in with caregivers and residents, follow up with clients and families, and communicate clearly with all stakeholders. Identify and address concerns quickly, handle challenging situations with professionalism, and provide ongoing training and coaching to caregivers. Monitor caregiver performance, coordinate schedules, and ensure medication reminder protocols are followed. Maintain strong relationships with community staff and keep the office informed of changes in client needs. Attend weekly meetings to provide updates on each location.
Required Qualifications
- CNA or significant hands-on home care experience
- Experience providing personal care and assisting with activities of daily living
- Comfortable working with clients who may have dementia, confusion, behavioral challenges, or changing care needs
- Ability to confidently handle difficult conversations and challenging situations
- Ability to address concerns with caregivers and hold team members accountable
- Clear, professional, and consistent communication skills
- High organization and ability to manage multiple locations and priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think independently
- Comfortable training and coaching caregivers
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and senior living community staff
- Understanding of the importance of documenting and communicating changes promptly
- Reliability and dependability
- Ability to work independently while remaining connected to the office team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between Cary and Raleigh locations
