Job Summary
Visit and regularly check in at multiple senior living communities in Cary and Raleigh to ensure scheduled services are completed. Check in with caregivers and residents, follow up with families, and communicate clearly with all stakeholders to identify and address concerns quickly. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to caregivers, monitor performance, and assist with improving systems and processes as the program grows. Handle challenging situations involving clients, caregivers, and family members with patience and professionalism. This role requires weekends with flexible weekday availability and a valid driver's license. You will play a key role in developing a specialized care model that helps older adults remain independent.
Required Qualifications
- CNA or significant hands-on home care experience
- Experience providing personal care and assisting with activities of daily living
- Comfortable working with clients who may have dementia, confusion, behavioral challenges, or changing care needs
- Can confidently handle difficult conversations and challenging situations
- Comfortable addressing concerns with caregivers and holding team members accountable
- Communicates clearly, professionally, and consistently
- Is highly organized and able to manage multiple locations and priorities
- Follows through and does not let issues fall through the cracks
- Has strong problem-solving skills and can think independently
- Is comfortable training and coaching caregivers
- Can build positive relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and senior living community staff
- Understands the importance of documenting and communicating changes promptly
- Is reliable, dependable, and able to work independently while remaining connected to the office team
- Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between Cary and Raleigh locations
- Weekends required with flexible weekday availability
