Job Summary
Community Care Assistant role in Right at Home (Stevenage, Bishop's Stortford & Braintree) delivering care in clients' homes. Responsibilities include motivating clients to maximize daily activity, personal care, administering medication, helping with washing and dressing, shopping, housekeeping, meal preparation, taking clients to appointments or outings. Requirements include a full UK or EU/EEA driving licence with access to a vehicle, availability across mornings, afternoons, or evenings and every other weekend, and completing a 3-day training course. The role offers flexible hours, competitive hourly rates (£14.20/hr weekdays, £14.40/hr weekends), mileage pay (40p per mile), fully paid travel time, paid holiday, DBS check, ongoing training and development, and clear career progression. Live locally to the listed areas and be willing to join a supportive team providing private and home-based care, with opportunities for upskilling if coming from other sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle
- Availability to work early mornings (from 7am), afternoons (from 2pm) or evenings (from 5pm) and every other weekend
- Commit to attending a 3-day training course
- Live locally to Bishop's Stortford, Takeley, Dunmow, Braintree and surrounding areas
