Job Summary
Community Care Assistant role across Stevenage and surrounding areas. No experience required; full training and ongoing support provided. Responsibilities include motivating and assisting clients with personal care, washing and dressing, administering medication, shopping, housekeeping, meal preparation, and taking clients to appointments. Flexible hours to fit availability with minimum 45-minute visits and opportunities to progress to Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care qualifications. Requires a full UK/EU driving licence with access to a vehicle and willingness to attend a 3-day training course; live locally to Stevenage, Letchworth and Hitchin. Competitive pay (£14.20/hr weekdays, £14.40/hr weekends), fully paid travel time, mileage paid at 40p/mile, paid holiday, DBS check, pension, and ongoing training and development. Required Qualifications
- Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle
- Be able to offer availability either early mornings (from 7am), afternoon (from 2pm) or evening (from 5pm) and every other weekend
- Commit to attending a 3-day training course
- Live locally to Stevenage, Letchworth & Hitchin and surrounding areas
- Have or be willing to obtain business vehicle insurance
- Experience as Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or NHS preferred but not required
