Job Summary
Cultivate business banking opportunities for deposits and loans within a defined geographic area by identifying and managing relationships with advisors, community organizations, and centers of influence. Partner with internal branches and external vendors to develop tailored solutions for prospects while conducting preliminary underwriting and structuring credit requests. Manage a portfolio of business clients to minimize risk, cross-sell services, and maintain comprehensive contact history in the internal management system. Serve as a direct partner to clients, helping them understand challenges and access resources to thrive.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent related experience
- Strong sales skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively and creatively to find solutions to customer's problems
- Basic knowledge of credit and understanding of commercial business and banking
- Deeply rooted, locally engaged with active ties to the community and key partners
- History of volunteerism
- Centers of Influence relationships
- Technologically proficient
