Job Summary
Community Benefits Compliance Specialist focused on helping small businesses participate in community benefits agreements with large developments. Responsibilities include leading business retention, conducting outreach via site visits, calls, meetings, and events; serving as a primary contact for business owners; coordinating solutions with internal departments and external partners; maintaining outreach and performance records; connecting businesses to resources such as technical assistance, financing, procurement, and permitting information; supporting corridor-based engagement, and developing initiatives to strengthen long-term economic vitality. Requires relationship-building with diverse business owners, exceptional communication, project coordination, and ability to perform field and office work with local travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, economic development, urban studies, communications, or a related field; supplemented by 3-5 years experience in small business support, community engagement, business outreach, economic development, program coordination, or a related area; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
