Job Summary
Conduct hands-on training to community trainees and teach proper injury prevention techniques to adults and children. Manage Safe Sitter trainees and ensure attentiveness during sessions if certified. Transport training materials for events and represent East Tennessee Children's Hospital with respect in public-facing roles. Collaborate with the Director of Community Benefit for resources and communication needs. Work independently or with support for classes and events. Requires good communication skills and a positive attitude. Moderate lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and frequent standing or bending are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to have good communication skills
- Must be certified in Safe Sitter if teaching Safe Sitter course
- Must be able to transport training materials for events
- Moderate lifting, pushing, and pulling is required up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20-30 lbs frequently
- Frequent bending, walking, sitting squatting, reaching, and standing are required
Desired Qualifications
- Must be able to have positive attitude when discussing topics for education to the public
