Job Summary
Community-Based Protection Associate in UNHCR Protection Unit; responsible for integrating participatory community-based approaches, engaging persons of concern, coordinating with partners, identifying risks, facilitating consultations, supporting protection programming, budgeting with an AGD perspective, and building community protection capacities on the ground.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma with 3 years relevant experience
- Bachelor or equivalent with 2 years relevant experience
- Proficiency in IT/computer literacy
- Experience in community-based protection or humanitarian context
- Knowledge of MSRP (preferable) and ERP systems
- Stakeholder management and coordination with partners (Gov/NGO/Corporate)
- Capacity building and training
- AGD-sensitive analysis
- Fluency in English and local languages
- Understanding of child protection, protection from violence and exploitation
- Ethics, integrity and respect for diversity
