Job Summary
Community-Based Protection Associate in UNHCR Protection Unit based in Adré, Chad. Responsibilities include integrating participatory and community-based approaches into protection strategy and operations; maintaining relationships with people of concern and partners; promoting inclusive participation to identify protection risks and develop community-owned activities; contributing to planning, budgeting, and monitoring with an AGD perspective; building community capacity and coordinating with authorities, local partners, and other sectors to address social, educational, psychosocial, health, livelihoods, child protection, and gender-based violence issues; facilitating meetings and outreach with diverse communities, and ensuring accountability and quality in protection delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years relevant experience with High School Diploma; or 2 years relevant work experience with Bachelor or equivalent or higher
