Community Based Direct Support Professional M-F Full Time

Promote the dignity and rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing person-centered instruction, support, and role modeling within the Community Based Day Support program. Assist participants in pre-vocational readiness, socialization, community integration, and personal wellness while facilitating meaningful engagement and independent living skills. Develop goals using Individual Service Plans, oversee activity implementation, and provide physical support as needed, including assistance with personal care. Ensure compliance with agency policies and funding regulations, communicate progress to management, and serve as a mandated reporter for abuse or neglect. Maintain professional relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and community partners while attending staff meetings and required trainings. Requires frequent walking, standing, and lifting up to 25 pounds; a valid Massachusetts driver's license is mandatory.
