Job Summary
The Community Based Crisis Responder provides crisis intervention and risk assessment for clients, conducts crisis-focused assessments and documentation, establishes intervention plans, and maintains relationships with community resources. Candidates must demonstrate decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, and should be experienced in working collaboratively within a team environment. The position requires flexibility with scheduling and includes on-call overnight responsibilities. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with experience in mental health services or a High School Diploma with two years in human services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or education and a minimum of one year of experience in behavioral or mental health services.
- High School Diploma and two years of experience within human services.
Additional Requirements
- Must be dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance.
- Ability to handle complex cases.
- Ability to be on-call, Monday through Friday, including weekends and holidays.
