Community Banker

Community Banker responsibilities include opening and closing accounts, processing deposits and withdrawals, issuing debit cards, assisting customers with account issues, promoting bank products and services, handling notary services, and performing transactions such as wire transfers and ACH originations. The role involves cash handling, balancing cash drawers, maintaining secure work areas, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures. Additional duties vary by level and include vault management, ATM balancing, and administering CDs and other accounts while adhering to Bank, BSA, and Patriot Act requirements. The position requires strong customer service, math and MS Office skills, and the ability to learn banking software; prior supervisory experience is preferred.
