Job Summary
Delivers prompt, courteous service to members, guests, and employees while motivating department heads and front-line staff daily. Plans operational procedures aligned with Troon policies, coordinates capital and operating budgets, and monitors financial statements to ensure continuous goal implementation. Investigates complaints and violations, inspects grounds and facilities for maintenance needs, solicits contractor bids, and manages vendor contracts for cleaning, security, and repairs. Completes daily, monthly, and annual reporting, maintains membership records with professional associations, and resolves problems following community rules and regulations. Requires a Community Association Manager license, ten years of professional experience, and proven leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Community Association Manager (CAM) License
- High School Diploma
- Previous management experience in association operations
- Proven leadership experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with other members, guests and employees in one-on-one and small group situations in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create and disseminate written correspondence
- Ability to delegate responsibilities
- Ability to motivate, develop and manage a team
- Computer literacy
- Ability to perform math computations essential for budgeting and cost analysis purposes
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
