Job Summary
Maximize property cash flow by monitoring rent collection, managing Yardi data, and preparing monthly closing procedures. Support leasing operations by qualifying applicants, managing renewals, tracking expirations, and conducting bi-monthly market studies. Ensure resident satisfaction through daily property inspections, directing service requests within 24 hours, and planning community events. Assist the Community Manager with team recruitment, performance evaluations, and emergency coverage including weekends and on-call duties. Maintain accurate resident files and oversee compliance with Fair Housing and tax regulations. This role is part of NRP's A+ team, a full-service multifamily developer dedicated to building quality homes for residents regardless of income.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- reliable transportation
- One-year property management experience
- 4-year degree in a related field
- working knowledge of applicable Landlord Tenant Laws
- Fair Housing Regulations
- IRS Section 42 - LIHTC Program
- other laws as they relate to property specific guidelines and occupancy standards
- Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite
- Yardi
Desired Qualifications
- college preferred
- Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) accreditation
- any other LIHTC designations
- Yardi Experience preferred
