Job Summary
Demonstrate excellent customer service during encounters with residents, prospects, vendors, and officials while assisting with marketing efforts, customer appreciation events, and leasing inquiries. Conduct tours, maintain show units, and complete follow-ups for potential residents, then assist with annual unit turnover and move-in/move-out procedures. Perform administrative and Front Desk tasks, ensure accurate file documentation, collect fees per policy, and seek resident feedback to communicate with the team. Respond to after-hour emergency issues as needed and execute other duties directed by the Property Manager. This part-time role involves a variable schedule of up to 29.5 hours per week with rotating nights and weekends, offering $12.00 per hour plus bonus potential. Candidates must live onsite and be enrolled at Iowa State University.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer for our Community Assistants to live onsite and be currently enrolled at the university
- Demonstrated ability to work in a growing, fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Possess strong administrative, organization, and communication skills
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism
- Be a self-motivated individual and excel at working in a team environment
- Ability to have a positive and innovative approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Rotating nights and weekends are required
