Community AOD Registered Nurse

Job Summary
Collaborate with internal teams and whānau in a residential AOD programme to support individuals with health concerns, including addiction, mental health, and physical wellbeing. Decode and demystify health issues through health education while working within a Kaupapa Māori framework that encompasses physical, spiritual, mental, and family wellbeing. Prioritise holistic engagement and meaningful relationships to improve health outcomes across the community continuum. This full-time permanent role is based in Wainoni, Ōtautahi, with competitive remuneration, ongoing professional development, and flexible scheduling for the right person.
Required Qualifications
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Registered Nurse
- hold current Nursing council of New Zealand practising certificate
- Demonstrated ability to work within a kaupapa Māori organisartion and/or ability to understand tikanga
- Experience of working within the AOD and MH sector
- A high standard of professionalism and work ethic
- Outstanding motivational and communication skills
- An ability to contribute positively within a team
