Job Summary
Coordinate with the CED Director to develop and implement systems and policies, supervise economic development staff, and oversee duties in areas such as economic development, business lending, grant writing and administration. Lead CWEDD staffing, manage project work programs and budgets, oversee federal/state grant applications, and represent the department to federal/state/regional partners. Regular travel within the three-county area and occasional evening meetings are required. Requires a four-year college degree and strong communication, project-management, and leadership abilities; includes driving responsibility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a four-year college or university in public or business administration, economics, or a field related to job duties
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience or experience working in a lead capacity
- Possession of a Valid Oregon Driver’s License or the ability to obtain reliable transportation to travel throughout the area
- Successful completion of a criminal history and abuse check
