Job Summary
Community Account Specialist responsible for all community accounting operations including posting payments, processing Deposit Accounting forms, completing Final Deposit Accounting, and other administrative and customer service duties. Responsibilities include communicating with residents about move-in processes and balances, resolving escalations, ensuring compliant money management and accounts receivable procedures, handling collections and delinquency notices, and supporting legal proceedings for unpaid rent (e.g., unlawful detainer, small claims). Requires strong customer service, collaboration with internal/external stakeholders, data integrity, and adherence to policies. On-site role in San Diego with a five-day workweek, occasional travel for meetings and court appearances, and benefits and growth opportunities described by the employer.
