Communications Surveillance Associate/ Analyst

Job Summary
Review communications surveillance alerts across asset classes and conduct thorough analysis of communications content; research relevant information and engage with compliance teams, surveillance technology partners, and other stakeholders; carry out ad hoc reviews and searches. Requires strong analytical and risk assessment skills, investigative instincts, ability to work with management and partners, and the ability to work independently and in teams. Non-English language skills are essential, with initiative, judgement, and the ability to prioritise competing demands and stay organized under pressure. Degree or overseas equivalent is desirable but not essential.
Required Qualifications
- Good knowledge of financial markets and products
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
- Excellent investigative instincts and background/experience in reviewing communications
- Ability to effectively partner with key stakeholders and technology partners
- Non-English language skills essential
- Initiative and judgement
- The ability to prioritize conflicting demands, be proactive, well-organised and work under pressure
- The ability to work independently and in teams and the readiness to share knowledge
- Strong oral and written communication skills
