Job Summary
Communications Subject Matter Expert to support VA Office of Suicide Prevention initiatives, contributing to the Veteran Suicide Prevention FY 2026 Strategic Sprints by coordinating enterprise-wide communications efforts, promoting alternative chronic pain management approaches, linking Veterans with faith-based community resources, and bridging care coordination gaps between VA and CITC providers. The role requires strategic advisory input on large-scale health-care communications campaigns, with emphasis on engaging internal and external stakeholders, conducting media analysis across social platforms, and delivering effective, integrated communications strategies for Veterans outreach. Requires a Master's degree and 10+ years of experience in healthcare communications; remote work is available; full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Minimum 10 years experience with large-scale communications in a health care setting
- Experience with Veterans outreach and communication campaigns
- Media analysis regarding social media platforms
- Experience implementing successful communications campaigns in an integrated health care setting
- Provide expert advice related to strategic communications for both internal and external stakeholders
