Job Summary
Hybrid Communications Specialist role supporting a transportation engineering client. Responsibilities include assisting with project tasks, content development and review for internal/external audiences, translating complex technical information into clear messaging, developing and formatting reports and presentations, coordinating technical training sessions and events, and supporting client engagement across multiple stakeholders. Requires 2-4 years in project management or communications within transportation/engineering, a Bachelor's degree, ability to travel to client sites, and on-site presence in Lisle, IL at least three days per week.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years professional experience in project management or communications for/within the transportation or engineering industries
- Bachelor’s degree required, with a preferential focus in engineering, communications, urban planning or related field
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to client offices and events
- Must be able to work onsite in Lisle, IL a minimum of three days, per week
