Job Summary
Develop communication plans supporting EHR Go-Live, recovery, and PGL Operations across live and upcoming sites. Produce stakeholder engagement materials, messaging, and information products that explain workflow changes and system updates to end users. Support change-readiness assessments and translate findings into targeted communication interventions while handling information output for clinical and operational staff. Coordinate communication timing with training delivery and maintain artifacts, distribution lists, and content repositories. Measure communication reach and effectiveness to refine the approach. This role spans information output, message development, and audience-specific materials supporting go-live readiness, post go-live recovery, and ongoing operations across a growing number of live sites as VHA stabilizes and scales the Oracle Health Federal Electronic Health Record.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing communications plans for large organizational change initiatives
- Experience producing stakeholder engagement materials and audience-specific messaging
- Experience supporting communications in a healthcare, health IT, or federal setting
- Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and facilitation skills at an executive level
- Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Low/NACI background investigation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting electronic health record deployment or modernization communications
- Corporate knowledge of large-scale communications in a health care setting
- Experience with Veterans outreach and communication campaigns
- Experience supporting VHA
