Job Summary
Create a monthly content calendar and draft daily social media posts for organic channels including Instagram, Facebook, X, Bluesky, and TikTok. Shoot and edit videos for brand and CEO accounts while tracking analytics to generate monthly reports. Coordinate special events, projects, and campaigns such as webinars, and manage the creation and distribution of branded materials with external vendors. Provide administrative support including expense reports and invoicing, and monitor media trends to share best practices with the team.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or another relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two to four years of experience in social media, communications, marketing, creative writing, and interactive content management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with tracking and reporting analytics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or Canva required
- Flexible, creative, and adaptable thinker, with ability to work independently and collaboratively and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful team player
- Commitment to Global Refuge's core mission and values and an ability to model those values in relationship with colleagues and partners; commitment to empowering refugees and migrants
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of WordPress, MailChimp, and Salesforce CRM preferred
