Job Summary

Write and edit compelling content for newsletters, emails, websites, social media, and marketing materials while developing and executing the communications calendar. Manage digital assets, coordinate graphic design and photography needs, and maintain the Leadership Library and toolkits. Provide communications and administrative support for leadership programs, workshops, and convenings, including participant coordination and event logistics. Prepare agendas, presentations, and meeting materials for the Executive Director and board, while tracking action items and supporting organizational decision-making through data collection and reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two to four years of experience in communications, marketing, nonprofit administration, project coordination, program coordination, or a related field
  • Experience developing and executing communications across multiple channels, including email, websites, and social media
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management abilities
  • Ability to translate ideas into clear, engaging communications for a variety of audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, high-quality work
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact)
  • Familiarity with website content management systems
  • Experience maintaining brand consistency across digital and print communications
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting events, educational programs, or community-based initiatives
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Basic photography, video, and graphic design skills
