Job Summary
Operate a computerized switchboard to process incoming calls, screen and extend them to appropriate departments, personnel, or locations, including long distance and conference calls as needed. Monitor and dispatch appropriate response levels to ensure patient and employee safety during emergent situations. Handle pressure to meet deadlines with accuracy while managing constantly changing situations and a variety of people in stressful environments. Adhere to all requirements, regulations, procedures of licensing boards, and Benefis Health System organization policies. High School diploma required; six months customer service and call center experience preferred. Starting wage $17.86/hourly.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must comply with all Benefis Health System's organization policies and procedures
- Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency
Desired Qualifications
- Six months experience in customer service preferred
- Six months experience as an office and a call center environment preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
