Job Summary
Communications Support Officer for The Decommissioning Alliance (TDA) at Sellafield, responsible for developing and delivering high-quality internal and external communications that align with programme priorities, build trust with stakeholders, and strengthen TDA's reputation. Responsibilities include creating and executing communication plans, engaging diverse stakeholders (clients, regulators, suppliers, local communities), producing written/digital/visual content across channels (newsletters, intranet, social media, leadership messages, presentations), ensuring branding consistency, translating technical information into plain English, managing priority channels (newsletters, LinkedIn, briefing materials), and contributing to governance around issues, incidents and risks. Requires collaborating with programme leadership and teams, and leveraging AI, digital tools, and Adobe Creative Suite to support long-term programmes involving safety, risk, remediation or major project delivery. The role emphasizes safety, integrity, respect, and flexible/hybrid working arrangements within a supportive culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
