Communications & Media Relations Manager

Job Summary
Develop and execute A1's global communications strategy, building relationships with technology, business, and mainstream media to secure high-quality press coverage. Write and edit press releases, announcements, and executive communications while shaping company messaging and product narratives. Proactively pitch stories, prepare founders and executives for media interviews and public appearances, and develop communication plans around launches and milestones. Monitor media coverage to strengthen the brand and support crisis communications when required. Work closely with product, recruiting, and leadership teams to ensure consistent external messaging.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in PR, corporate communications or media relations within technology companies
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to explain complex products clearly
- Strong relationships with technology and business journalists
- Experience managing communications for product launches or major announcements
- Excellent judgement and ability to develop compelling narratives
- Comfortable working directly with founders and senior leadership
- Able to operate independently in a fast-moving environment with minimal direction
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality
